Our electrical division handles everything from initial power demand estimation and utility liaison through detailed design, installation, testing, and commissioning. Every project is executed in strict compliance with the Indian Electricity Rules (IE Rules), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) codes, and the National Building Code, ensuring safety, reliability, and long-term operational efficiency across all electrical systems.
HT/LT Switchgear & Power Distribution
Our engineers design robust power distribution networks beginning with HT supply arrangement, transformer sizing and specification, and HT/LT switchgear panel design. We prepare detailed single-line diagrams (SLDs), perform short-circuit and coordination studies, and design LT panel boards — including main distribution boards (MDBs), sub-main distribution boards (SMDBs), and final distribution boards (FDBs) — with appropriate protection devices. Cable routing is meticulously planned using cable tray layouts and conduit routing drawings, with cable sizing calculations based on current carrying capacity, voltage drop limits, and fault-level considerations. For projects requiring standby power, we design DG set installations with automatic transfer switches (ATS) and synchronisation panels for multiple generator paralleling.
Lighting Design & Control Systems
Effective lighting design goes far beyond simply placing fixtures. Our team performs lux-level calculations using DIALux or equivalent software for every functional area — from office workstations and corridors to parking garages and building facades. We specify energy-efficient LED luminaires, design lighting control strategies including occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, and scene-setting control panels, and ensure full compliance with ECBC lighting power density (LPD) requirements. For external areas, we design landscape lighting, security lighting, and signage illumination that enhance aesthetics while maintaining safety and energy efficiency.
Earthing, Lightning Protection & Special Systems
A safe electrical installation is built on a solid earthing and lightning protection foundation. We design earthing systems — including plate earthing, pipe earthing, and chemical earthing — in accordance with IS 3043, and lightning protection systems conforming to IS/IEC 62305. Beyond the core electrical distribution, we also design and integrate special systems including structured cabling networks, public address and voice alarm (PA/VA) systems, CCTV surveillance, access control, and building management system (BMS) integration.
