Comprehensive Mechanical Engineering Solutions
Vardhman Infra provides end-to-end mechanical engineering services encompassing HVAC system design, installation, testing, and commissioning for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres, hotels, and industrial facilities. Our mechanical engineering division combines deep domain expertise with cutting-edge design tools to create indoor environments that are comfortable, energy-efficient, and fully compliant with the National Building Code (NBC) and ASHRAE standards. From initial load calculations to final balancing and commissioning, we deliver systems that perform reliably for decades.
HVAC System Design & Equipment Sizing
Our design process begins with a detailed heat-load analysis using HAP, Carrier E20-II, or equivalent software, accounting for building orientation, occupancy profiles, internal gains, and local climatic data. Based on the load profile, we recommend the most suitable system architecture — whether Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems for mid-rise commercial buildings, chilled water systems with centrifugal or screw chillers for large campuses, or packaged DX units for specialised applications. Every design is accompanied by comprehensive shop drawings, equipment schedules, duct sizing calculations, and piping isometrics that facilitate smooth installation and coordination with other MEP trades.
Air Handling & Ventilation Design
Proper ventilation is critical to occupant health, productivity, and regulatory compliance. We design air handling units (AHUs), fresh air handling units (FAHUs), and exhaust systems that meet ASHRAE 62.1 ventilation rate requirements while optimising energy consumption. Our ventilation designs include dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS), heat recovery wheels, demand-controlled ventilation using CO₂ sensors, and smoke management systems integrated with the fire protection strategy. For specialised environments such as operating theatres, cleanrooms, and laboratories, we engineer precision air-conditioning systems with HEPA filtration and strict pressure cascade controls.
Energy Efficiency & Commissioning
Sustainability is integral to our mechanical engineering practice. We design systems that comply with the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) and pursue energy savings through variable-speed drives on pumps and fans, high-efficiency chillers with optimised part-load performance, intelligent building management systems (BMS), and thermal energy storage where applicable. Our commissioning team performs rigorous functional performance testing — including air and water balancing, control sequence verification, and integrated systems testing — to ensure that every system operates at its designed efficiency from the first day of occupancy. Post-commissioning, we provide detailed operations and maintenance manuals and training for facility management teams.
