Comprehensive Fire Protection Engineering
Vardhman Infra provides complete fire protection engineering services — from risk assessment and system design through installation, testing, commissioning, and fire NOC coordination. Our fire protection team designs life-safety and property-protection systems for high-rise buildings, hospitals, shopping malls, data centres, warehouses, and industrial facilities in strict compliance with the National Building Code Part 4 (Fire and Life Safety), TAC (Tariff Advisory Committee) guidelines, IS 15105, and NFPA standards where applicable. We treat fire safety not as a regulatory checkbox but as a critical engineering discipline that protects lives and assets.
Sprinkler Networks & Hydrant Systems
Our engineers design automatic sprinkler systems — including wet-pipe, dry-pipe, pre-action, and deluge configurations — tailored to the hazard classification and occupancy type of each area. Hydraulic calculations are performed using industry-standard software to ensure adequate water density and pressure at the most remote sprinkler head. Fire hydrant systems, including internal wet risers, yard hydrant networks, and hose reel stations, are designed with properly sized fire pump sets (electric and diesel-driven) in duty-jockey-standby configuration. We prepare detailed fire pump room layouts, suction and delivery piping designs, and fire water storage tank sizing calculations to ensure code-compliant and operationally reliable installations.
Fire Detection, Alarm & Suppression Systems
Early detection is the first line of defence in any fire safety strategy. We design addressable fire alarm systems with intelligent smoke detectors, heat detectors, multi-sensor detectors, manual call points, and beam detectors positioned in accordance with IS 2189 and system-specific design guides. Our designs integrate public address and voice alarm (PA/VA) systems for orderly evacuation, emergency lighting, and exit signage layouts that comply with egress requirements. For specialised environments such as server rooms, electrical switch rooms, and record storage areas, we design clean-agent suppression systems (FM-200, Novec 1230, or inert gas) and CO₂ flooding systems with appropriate detection interlocks, discharge calculations, and room integrity testing specifications.
Fire NOC Coordination & Compliance Documentation
Navigating the fire NOC approval process requires thorough documentation and deep familiarity with local fire authority requirements. Vardhman Infra prepares all necessary submission drawings, design basis reports, hydraulic calculation sheets, and equipment compliance certificates required by the Chief Fire Officer. We coordinate directly with fire department officials through the review process, address observations promptly, and ensure that the installed systems match the approved drawings precisely. Our deliverables include comprehensive fire safety plans, cause-and-effect matrices, fire strategy reports, operations and maintenance manuals, and training programmes for building management staff to ensure ongoing compliance and readiness.
